This page explains what data Chark processes through this website, why it is used and how you can exercise your rights.
What data is collected
- Name and email address.
- Company or organization, if provided.
- Selected contact type in the form.
- Message content and minimum technical metadata associated with the submission.
Purpose and legal basis
Data is used to handle user-initiated contact requests, answer inquiries and maintain the professional follow-up resulting from that request.
The main legal basis is the application of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject and, where relevant, the consent expressed when submitting the form.
Recipients and processors
Data may be processed by providers that supply services necessary for the operation of the form and the reply workflow.
The website currently uses Web3Forms as the technical provider for form submission and Google Workspace as the corporate email provider. Those providers may act as processors in the initial receipt, transmission and management of the request.
International transfers
Submitting the form may involve data processing by providers located in, or using infrastructure outside, the European Economic Area. Public Web3Forms documentation indicates operational links to India and servers in the United States.
Where international transfers exist, Chark aims to rely on appropriate safeguards, contractual measures and adequacy decisions or equivalent mechanisms applicable at the time.
Retention
Form data will be kept for a maximum period of 12 months from the last interaction, unless a further relationship exists or a legal obligation requires longer retention.
After that period, data will be deleted or blocked once it is no longer necessary.
Rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability where applicable.
